B. Sachidananda Babu is the son of Dr. B.V.Raman, Editor of the world renowned THE ASTROLOGICAL MAGAZINE. He has been trained in the Science of Astrology by his father, whom he considers as his Guru or Preceptor.

Eversince a child, he evinced a great interest in Astrology, Palmistry, Numerology, Philosophy, etc., and has been giving Astrological consultations for over 27 years, with remarkable consistency. His clientele throughout the world include Intellectuals, Scientists, Medicalmen, Educationalists, Top people in various Governmental positions and the Common People.

He is the Director of the Horoscope Department of RAMAN ASSOCIATES. He has recieved a number of letters of appreciation from his clients for his accurate predictions some of which are reproduced in the testimonials section of this website.

He is an exponent of the Hindu system of Astrology and its various branches like Jaimini, Astakavarga, Varshapal, Prasna etc. Well versed in Western Astrology he favours the Hindu or Vedic System.

His other areas of specific interest are palmistry, numerology, mantra shastra, spirituality, the theory of karma, medical astrology, life after death, reincarnation, vastu - shastra, studying nature and plant life, omens and dreams.

He is deeply interested in Spirituality, Mysticism, Bhakti and Jnana Yoga and keeps himself occupied with thoughts of these even while at work. He toured extensively in the U.S.A. in 1987 for almost three months at a stretch, after which he decided to maintain a low profile.

His daily routine starts at 4.30 a.m. with exercise, prayers, meditation etc., and he retires to bed not earlier than 11.30 p.m. He has a non - stop work schedule with requests for prediction work on different aspects from "VVIPs" , to the "very common man". He never advocates or encourages the use of "Computerised readings", which is only a means of earning money fast. All readings are typed PERSONALLY by him, and this makes the waiting period not less than 25 weeks. Where the case warrants very urgent attention, he tries to do his level best to be of immediate service. He has manually cast atleast 5000 (Five Thousand) horoscopes and given over 10,000 (Ten Thousand) consultations. Typed readings have crossed the 8,500 (Eight Thousand Five Hundred) mark!, which is a world record with proof available. At a time when all astrological consultations had to be done manually Dr. B. V. Raman, always used to ask Mr. B. Sachidananda Babu to calculate and cast various astronomical charts such as "New Year or Lunar Charts", Varshapal (the solar progressed horoscope), Ashtakavarga, Prasna (Horary), Jaimini Charts, different kinds of dasas, such as "Yogini", "Kalachakra", "Vimishottari", "Chara" and "Sthira" Dasa for horoscopes of Nations (for world predictions) and leaders of nations, without the help of calculators and computers.

He has lectured in medical institutions & cultural organisations on various aspects of Astrology, proving that Astrology is a science "par excellence". Many eminent doctors take his advice while diagnosing diseases & in respect of complicated surgeries. B. Sachidananda Babu is also a Yoga and Weight lifting enthusiast and his mother Smt. Rajeswari Raman (a world - renowned Yoga teacher and director of Sri Surya Prakash Institute of Yoga for Women), is his Guru in these disciplines. It may be concluded that Dr. B. V. Raman was the modern Parasara and Varahimihira, and what he contributed to astrology and spread of Ancient Hindu achievement was collosal and he left no stone unturned in his relentless mission.
